Maisel's Weisse (Hefeweizen)
![]() |
Brauerei Gebruder Maisel launched Maisel's Weisse in 1955 and today it is one of the largest selling Weisse beers in Bavaria. Maisel's Weisse pours a hazy orange gold color with a large, expanding white cloud of foam. The aroma of this 5.2 percent alcohol by volume beer has hints of fruit. |
The flavor has a smooth malty base, a shot of cloves, a bit of banana and in the background is some refreshingly cleansing citrus. |

Bayreuther (Lager)

This Helles lager is clean and crisp. Bright pale gold in color with a super rich white head. The aroma showcases some earthy, spicy and fresh hop bitterness. The body is slightly sweet with subtle notes of grass and hay. The finish is clean and crisp, but still leaves the sweetness in tact. A classic Bavarian lager that has captured the taste buds of so many people. |
Veltins (Pilsener)

Clean and herbal-hoppy. Suggests a smooth beer.Behind the tangy, herbal hop notes, this is quite a delicate beer and not particularly full bodied. Fairly dry and bitter, but with a soft malty-sweet backdrop.Dry, clean, hoppy and bitter. The herbal dryness goes on and on. |
A perfect illustration of how to balance rather delicate malt with lots of tangy hops and create an eminently drinkable beer. From a village brewery south-east of Dortmund. |
