Better Opportunities for Single Service members (B.O.S.S) Program
Better Opportunities for Single Service members (BOSS) is a program that supports the overall quality of life for single and unaccompanied soldiers. The BOSS program supports the chain of command by identifying quality of life (QOL) issues and concerns and by providing recommendations for QOL improvement. The BOSS program provides an opportunity for single soldiers to participate in and contribute to their respective communities. Armed Forces Action Plan Program (AFAP)
JBLM AFAP is a grassroots process used to identify and elevate the most significant quality of life issues impacting Service Members, Retirees, Government Civilians and Families to senior leadership for action. Information provided through the JBLM AFAP process gives commanders and leaders insight into current satisfaction detractors, quality of life needs and expectations of military constituents. Leadership uses the information to effect changes that improve standards of living and support programs. These changes foster a satisfied, informed and resilient Military Community. Community FIRST Program
The Community FIRST (Feedback, Issues, Resolution, Solutions, Today) process is designed to identify and resolve issues at installation level that address the well-being of the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Community. Army Suggestion Program (ASP)
The Army Suggestion Program (ASP) encourages soldiers and civilians to submit ideas that increase the efficiency and productivity of the Army. Improve morale by providing individuals with the opportunity to voluntarily take part in the improvement of operations and the quality of life within the Army.
